Madame Pommery, who wants to produce a different wine, decides to relocate to a different place which combines the optimal conditions for production. In July 1868 she launches the “construction site of the century” in Reims: the metamorphosis of the crayères chalkpits into cellars.

Clément Pierlot, the 10th cellar master of Pommery champagnes, is a committed, precise man with a modern and contemporary vision of oenology and wine making.
POP comes in a 20 cl blue glass with a real cork, a traditional wire cap and silvery cap foil. blended wine in the best sense of the term, it combines the three Champagne vines: pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay.
